How you like “Design Thinking”?
Maybe some of you have not heard about it at all. Some of you may be using it. Some of you may not like it. These days, Design Thinking is regarded as a problem solving and innovation method and a mindset applicable to wide range of problems, not just design problems.
While design has been critically used in many areas from engineering to industrial design, the paradigm of design has been shifted from designing of physical things to designing of human activities and experiences as well as services. Particularly, I will talk about smart product-service systems and customer experience design using customer experience data, which is a focus area of my research and education currently.
