Seminar: Entrepreneurship at Universities and at the University of Turku
Time: Thursday 1st September 11.00 – 14.00
Place: Turku School of Economics (Rehtoripellonkatu 3), OP Hall
Join this event to discuss entrepreneurship at the University of Turku (and internationally) and to learn from recent research on this topic!
We have a great set of interesting presenters leading us through the topic, including: Vice-Rector, Professor Mika Hannula (University of Turku), Assistant Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Enterprise), Chair in entrepreneurship (University of South Wales) Dylan Jones-Evans and Project Manager, PhD Kaisu Paasio.
In addition to the presentations, the seminar will include a panel to discuss what is being done - and could be done - to foster entrepreneurship at the University of Turku.
The panellists are: CEO of Dagsmark Petfood Ltd, Entrepreneur-in-Residence Laura Strömberg, Head of Corporate Collaboration, Faculty of Technology (UTU) Timo Vasankari, Lecturer, Faculty of Humanities (UTU) Kalle Konttinen, Collaboration Manager, Partnerships and Strategic Engagement (UTU), Entrepreneur Mikko Pohjola and Executive Director, Boost Turku Olli Massala.
The seminar is open to all faculty members and students at the University of Turku interested in the topic. We ask you to register through the following link in order to prepare enough coffee and sandwiches for the seminar participants.
We look forward to seeing you in the seminar!
