University of Turku Employs Nearly 50 New Doctoral Candidates

There are nearly fifty open vacancies for fixed-term doctoral candidate positions at the University of Turku from 1 January 2018 onwards. The call for applications is open 1–20 September and positions are open to all the 16 doctoral programmes.

Speech and Language Pathology Combines Research and Practice in Developing Clinical Therapies

Speech and Language Pathology is developing rapidly and, as a result, new information that supports practical work is available for speech therapists. One mediator of the new information is the European Clinical Specialization for Fluency Disorders (ECSF) programme, whose intensive week was organised at the University of Turku. The event was also an introduction to the first Professor of Practice of Speech and Language Pathology, Kurt Eggers, who is the Coordinator of the ECSF programme.

KiVa Programme Spreads to Basque Schools

Ikastola Network has made a contract on purchasing the KiVa Antibullying Program to schools in the Basque area. KiVa was developed at the University of Turku, and the University will also produce the services for Ikastola.
