Instead of trying to combat global poverty by giving foreign aid, more permanent results could be achieved by educating local people to help themselves, which could be accomplished by the means of multinational enterprises. Companies possess money, knowledge and innovations to help the citizens and governments of developing countries to improve their living conditions.
Eduniversal ranks the best Master’s, MBA and eMBA programmes offered by business schools and universities in 154 countries annually. In the ranking of 2013 - 2014, TSE’s Master's Degree Programme in Global Information Technology Management and Executive MBA Turku programme were placed 33 and 49 respectively in the ranking categories of their field.
Study of ethics provides a new area for network research, one of the core research areas in the marketing discipline at TSE.
According to the advance information from the faculties, 162 doctors graduated from the University of Turku last year. In addition, 1632 Master’s degrees and 1456 Bachelor’s degrees were completed.
The faculties celebrate the new Masters with Graduation Ceremonies. Masters from the Faculty of Humanities gathered at the Old Academy Building in December.
The new exchange students of the University of Turku began their studies at the start of the spring term by attending an orientation course at the School of Economics on January 3.
