How to Apply for Doctoral Training at the Faculty of Medicine

There are 6 Faculty of Medicine related University of Turku (UTUGS) doctoral programmes, through which a right to study for a doctoral degree is applied for. In addition, there is a doctoral pilot programme in connection with the national doctoral training pilot. Each of the doctoral programmes publish a call for applications including instructions for applying before the application period starts. The call for applications of the autumn semester 2024 for the right to study for a doctoral degree and/or a doctoral researcher position under an employment contract at the Faculty of Medicine from 1 January 2025 onwards has ended.

Next application round for a right to study for a doctoral degree at the Faculty of Medicine is on March 3 - March 14, 2025 (right to study from August 1, 2025 onwards).
