The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Turku marked its 80th anniversary this year and celebrated its doctors and honorary doctors with a traditional ceremonial conferment of doctoral degrees on 25–27 May 2023.
The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Turku is organising a ceremonial conferment of doctoral degrees on 26 May 2023. The Conferment Ceremony starts at noon at the Turku Concert Hall. The Academic Procession to the Cathedral can be followed starting from 3.30pm (if weather permits).
The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Turku organises a ceremonial conferment of doctoral degrees on 25–27 May 2023. Five honorary doctors will be conferred in the ceremony. They will receive the title of honorary doctor for their scientific merits, collaboration with the Faculty, and their impact on society.
The Faculty of Medicine celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2023. Since 1943, the Faculty has been an active health and well-being promoter and a regional influencer. Throughout the year, the Faculty will organise versatile events, to which we warmly welcome everyone.
The Faculty of Medicine celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2023. In honor of the centenary year, the faculty organised a Ceremonial Conferment of Doctoral Degrees, which could be attended by doctors graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Turku by the beginning of 2023.
