The annual Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings list the world’s best universities in eleven disciplines. Altogether 1512 universities were ranked in the 2021 World University Rankings. The University of Turku was ranked in nine different disciplines.
The Best Global Universities Ranking is published by the U.S. News & World Report. The University of Turku was ranked globally as 322nd.

Published by the Shanghai Ranking at the end of June, the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2020 ranked altogether 4,000 universities in 54 subjects. The University of Turku was listed among the best universities in the world in 23 subjects.
