The first researchers of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Cofund-funded post-doctoral programme SYS-LIFE have started their work at the University of Turku. The Faculty of Medicine organised an orientation day for the researchers to introduce themselves and learn about the services available for a research career on Tuesday, 1 October.
SYS-LIFE postdoctoral programme announced the selected fellows and their projects for the first call of the programme. The next call will be opened during autumn 2024.
Turku Collegium for Science, Medicine and Technology (TCSMT) is a multidisciplinary and interactive research community for top researchers in the early stages of their careers. At TCSMT, a maximum of four postdoctoral positions and four collegium researcher positions are now open.

Applications are invited from researchers who applied in the last round of applications for an Academy Research Fellow position but were not successful and will apply again in the winter 2024 call.
The University of Turku continues its commitment to promoting high-quality doctoral training by opening up a call for applications for approximately fifty fixed-term doctoral researcher positions. The application period for the positions is 28 August – 15 September 2023. The employment contract begins on 1 January 2024 and will last for a maximum of four years. All current doctoral researchers as well as those who are also applying for the study right for doctoral training can apply for the funded positions.

The University of Turku’s right to use the logo was renewed.
