University of Turku to Offer Five New Degree Programmes Taught in English

A majority of the entrance exams of universities and universities of applied sciences are organised in May–June. Universities, higher education institutions, and student organisations are appealing together to everyone in Finland that people would observe the current coronavirus restrictions and the general instructions for protection against the coronavirus by the National Institute for Health and Welfare.
The majority of entrance examinations will be held in May–June. Changes to the manner of administering the examinations are made only if required by regulations issued by the authorities.
Applicants will be informed of how the entrance examinations will be carried out by 16 March.
The application to the University’s international Master’s degree programmes was open on 7–20 January 2021. 13 Master's degree programmes were open for application and the University received a record number of applications, altogether 1,985.
The most popular programmes were Global Innovation Management, Biomedical Sciences, Digital Health and Life Sciences, as well as Information Security and Cryptography that received 725 applications in total. All in all, the international Master’s degree programmes received 1,376 applications from 94 countries, as the number of applications in the previous year was 1,116.
