Turku School of Economics Confers Two Honorary Doctors in May

The University of Turku organises a Ceremonial Conferment of Doctoral Degrees on 28–30 May, where 12 honorary doctors are conferred alongside with the doctors who have completed their degree in the last two years. Each of University’s seven faculties has chosen one or two persons who will be conferred as honorary doctors.

SANORD Support for Southern African–Nordic Co-operation

The Southern African-Nordic Centre (SANORD) is a partnership of higher education institutions from the Nordic countries and southern Africa. Its primary aim is to promote multilateral research co-operation on matters of importance to the development of both regions. The University of Turku was one of the founders of the network, which currently includes 42 members.
