Put your multidisciplinary hat on and be ready for a crash! In this Thematics TeamUp event Health, Diagnostics and Drug Development (HDDD) will introduce itself to Health Campus Turku, and vice versa. Come along for a fun and relaxed yet informative afternoon accompanied by a tasty menu. You get to meet researchers and experts from many different disciplines, expand your own network and quite possibly walk away with new ideas for collaboration.

In the key note speech, The online space is for humans – and so must be the data, we will dive head first into the world of data and learn why data is not just for engineers. Our captivating guest speaker, Katariina Kari, will share her expertese on data and knowledge graphs by telling us why it is essential to understand the language of our intended target audience when communicating online, whether internally or externally. Most of our work and communication today happens online, and growingly so. Why should we care about data and how does a more human friendly data serve our collaboration partners and internally, our organization. Katariina Kari is the lead ontologist at Inter IKEA Systems and she holds a Master in Science and Master in Music specialising in semantic web and guiding humankind to the digital age. Katariina Kari makes use of varied semantic web technologies to realise knowledge graphs across many domains, especially lifestyle and e-commerce.
