Open Science at the University of Turku — OpenUTU Project
The Rector of the University of Turku appointed the OpenUTU project on 3 July 2015 and its purpose is to guide the realisation of open science at the University.
The goal of the OpenUTU project, which started in 2015, is to develop the operational culture of open science in the University of Turku.
As its first task, the OpenUTU project group has drawn up the University's data policy and started the drafting of publication policy.
All the faculties, the University Library, Development Services, IT Services and University Communications are represented in the steering group of the project. The project group is appointed according to the measure that is under development. Director of Development Riitta Mustonen is the chair of the group and Research Liaison Officer Mari Riipinen is a permanent member.
