Call for participants to the first International Student Forum at UTU!

The Career Services at UTU invites 20 international students to participate in our first ever International Student Forum on Thursday 22 May at 9:30-12:00 am in Arcanum A112, on campus in Turku. Snacks will be provided.

The Student Forum is created to give international students a direct possibility to voice their needs and wishes when it comes to services that support employment during and after studies and work-life connections. The forum is a means of creating dialogue between the university, it's services and students.

WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR PARTICIPANTS TO JOIN THE STUDENT FORUM'S FIRST EVENT IN MAY! The application form is open until April 27.

The selection of participants is made based on information provided in your application. Our wish is to create a Student Forum as diverse as possible. The operational language of the forum is English. At a later stage, there will also be a possibility to participate in an in-depth interview as part of our service design process.

By international student we intend all non-Finnish (or Swedish) Speaking students, including Finnish expats/returnees who have been living abroad for a long time.

The International Student Forum is part of a the ongoing UNICOM+ -project, it is co-funded by the European Union and carried out by UTU, Åbo Akademi University and Turku University of Applied Sciences. The overall aim is to support international students in creating a career in Finland and develop a sense of belonging.
