The University of Turku proactively promotes, develops, and supports internationalisation in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Culture's Internationalisation Programme and the International Programme of the University of Turku for 2021–2030.
The International Partnerships Service supports the University management in strategic internationalisation, global cooperation, and outreach. The service also facilitates new initiatives and dialogue between different stakeholders, activities, and ideas at local, national and international levels.
The International Partnerships service coordinates several University level projects and networks. These include Finland-Africa Platform for Innovation (SDG 9) (FAPI) and Finland China Food and Health (FCFH) which are Global Networks of the Ministry of Education and Culture's Internationalisation Programme.
It also supports the University's activities for the freedom of science and researchers as part of SAR activities and the integration of our international experts into the Finnish innovation environment through the Talent Boost activity.
