Since 1992 I have had the pleasure to help developing  the international cooperation of our University; for example in matters connected to

•Strategic partnerships and networks

•Bilateral general agreements of the university

•New Initiatives for International Cooperation eg. Scholars at Risk, Strategic Mobility

•Applications, agreements and contracts related to international education programmes

• University networks such as Coimbra Group, University of Arctic, SANORD, Fudan Nordic Centre, Baltic University Program cooperation

I'm also active on national and international cooperation in the field of International Relations as a Member of Steering group for UTU Academic Affairs, serving in two different Turku Talent Hub steering groups/sections, a member of national network of Universities' International Relations Directors and Group leader for the Internationalization group of NUAS – Det Nordiska Universitets Administratörs Samarbetet.

I've also served my time as deputy member of UNIFI International Experts Group and member of MinEdu International Forum 2018-2019 and its secretariat as well as the Coordinator for Scholars at Risk Finland section for 2020-2021.

During 2008-2017 I was actively involved in Erasmus Mundus ECW/Action 2 cooperation with partners in EU, Russia, Ukraine and elsewhere in Eastern Neighbourhood and beyond.

I'm also a member of European Association for International Educators (EAIE).
