Automare (Autonomous Maritime Education Network)

Description: Automare, or the Autonomous Maritime Education Network, is a collaboration project between universities and various disciplines aimed at developing the readiness of higher education institutions to support the requirements of autonomous shipping. Increasing automation and digitization of processes require future workers to have new skills and training to support them. Through interdisciplinary workgroups and dialogue between companies, the project aims to identify areas that support technological and operational development and prepare future education content. CCR supports the development of challenge-based education in the project.
