Accreditations and Quality at Turku School of Economics
We produce high-quality scientific research and educate responsible leaders for national and international businesses and for the Finnish public sector.
Quality System
The quality system consist of follow-up of objectives in research, education and other activities. We evaluate our activities on yearly basis with School, department/unit and subject level indicators. Based on these results we decide on necessary actions for development. The main Committees responsible for quality improvement activities are Committee for Educational Development, Committee for Research and Doctoral Studies and Committee for Corporate and Society Relations.
National FINEEC-auditing
Turku School of Economics is part of Finnish Education Evaluation Center (FINEEC) audited University of Turku.
International AACSB-accreditation
TSE is an accredited member of the AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), which is a global accreditation agency committed to advancing the quality of management education worldwide. We have earned the accreditation in 2019, and are committed to continuously develop our activities and quality system based on the 15 AACSB standards in line with the strategy and objectives of the University of Turku.
Responsible persons
The Vice Dean Niina Nummela is in charge of quality development management at Turku School of Economics. Head of Faculty Development Arto Ryömä is in charge of the international AACSB accreditation process.
