The training covers the following topics:
- Basics of the Finnish education system and curriculum
- Multidisciplinary learning modules
- Active methods and classroom management
- Teacher and student guided projects
- Educational technology in phenomena based learning
The training programme is tailored for teachers in primary and lower secondary school (students aged 7–16). The content can also be adjusted for teacher educators or pedagogical leaders.
The training programme aims to widen participants' understanding of phenomena-based teaching and learning, empowering them to implement self-directed, interdisciplinary, and hands-on projects that foster students in developing 21st-century skills.
The training programme consists of interactive theoretical lectures alongside practical exercises with concrete cases, all aimed at supporting learners in applying the acquired knowledge to their own contexts. If the training takes place in Finland, it also involves a visit to a local school and observation of the topic in practice.
The training programme is designed to last 3-5 days, but it can be adjusted based on customer preferences, as the training packages are always customized to meet specific needs. Implementation can be arranged either in Finland or, in some cases, in the destination country as well.
The price of the programme is always negotiated on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the agreed content, duration, and location of the training.
