The training covers the following topics:
- Basics of the Finnish education system and curriculum
- Three-tiered support model
- Differentiated learning materials and teaching methods
- Collaboration between home and school
- Continuous support and school transition
The training programme is tailored for teachers in primary school (students aged 7–16), pre-primary (children aged 6–7) or early childhood education (children aged 0–6). The content can also be adjusted for teacher educators or pedagogical leaders.
The training programme aims to enhance participants' ability to support students with special needs, empowering them to create a multi-tiered and customized support model that strengthens children's learning, school attachment, and well-being.
The training programme consists of interactive theoretical lectures alongside practical exercises with concrete cases, all aimed at supporting learners in applying the acquired knowledge to their own contexts. If the training takes place in Finland, it also involves a visit to a local school and observation of the topic in practice.
The training programme is designed to last 3-5 days, but it can be adjusted based on customer preferences, as the training packages are always customized to meet specific needs. Implementation can be arranged either in Finland or, in some cases, in the destination country as well.
The price of the programme is always negotiated on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the agreed content, duration, and location of the training.
