The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to rearrange educational programmes in unexpected ways. In order to gauge how Finnish education cooperation projects with Asian partner institutions have met the challenges and identified good practices, a survey was conducted by the Finnish University Network for Asian Studies as part of the Digitree project funded by the Finnish National Agency for Education. This report summarises management and cooperation practices that have worked well, as well as issues that could be improved upon for the benefit of future projects.

Aasian maailmanlaajuinen merkitys 2020-luvulla on kiistaton.
Turun yliopiston Itä-Aasian tutkimus- ja koulutuskeskuksen julkaisema kirjasarja Studies on Contemporary Asia vastaa tähän tietotarpeeseen julkaisemalla tutkimukseen perustuvaa laajalle yleisölle tarkoitettua ajankohtaista kirjallisuutta Aasiasta.
Studies on Contemporary Asia -sarjan maantieteellinen fokus on laaja, kattaen sekä Itä-Aasian, Kaakkois-Aasian, että Etelä-Aasian. Laajan maantieteellisen fokuksen lisäksi kirjasarjassa katsotaan Aasian nyky-yhteiskuntien ilmiöitä monialaisesti, mm. politiikan, uskonnon, arkielämän, turismin, median, kansainvälisten suhteiden, kestävän kehityksen ja sukupuolikysymysten näkökulmista.
Uusimpaan tutkimukseen perustuvat asiantuntijatekstit tarjoavat uutta tietoa ja ymmärrystä tästä maailman yhdestä dynaamisimmasta alueesta.
