Research and education are conducted in three disciplines:
Education is also offered in three minor subjects: Cultural and Experience Tourism, Cultural Management Studies, and Museology.
The Degree Programme provides innovative and practical teaching compared to traditional teaching at universities, because the curricula include both scientific education and practice-oriented and applicable skills. While completing assignments, the students work in close co-operation with experts of different fields. The studies consist of both traditional exams and the production of materials, such as brochures, exhibitions, videos, web pages, or landscape inventories.
The premises of the Degree Programme are located at the Pori University Consortium (UCPori), which is a multidisciplinary centre of two universities: University of Turku and University of Tampere.
