Research Collaboration of the Research Centre for Child Psychiatry
The Research Centre for Child Psychiatry conducts close research collaboration with both domestic and foreign scientific communities. Our projects combine the expertise of various specialized fields of medicine, but we also conduct cross-disciplinary research with, for example, researchers in the fields of education, law and philosophy.
In the area of clinical research, we work interactively with different groups of experts. We collaborate with many wellbeing services counties in Finland and engage with, for example, health nurses and kindergarten teachers, already in the planning phase of our research projects. We consider it important that the scientific output and research data we produce genuinely benefits those working in practical health services.
The research centre has wide international networks. We cooperate with numerous universities and researchers in different parts of the world.
The centre has organized many training events, seminars and teaching in both Finnish and English and we also actively participate in international exchange of researchers.
