With the agreement, which will be in effect until 2033, the City of Rauma commits to supporting the operation and development of the Rauma campus of the Department of Teacher Education of the University of Turku.
The Asian Development Bank has selected an international consortium to provide technical assistance for Sri Lanka’s Secondary Education Sector Improvement Programme (SESIP). As a partner in the international consortium, the University of Turku provides educational expertise in pedagogical methods and curriculum development.
The 24 Namibian teacher students at the Department of Teacher Education in Rauma will return to their home country at the beginning of December to finalise their studies in Namibia. Before completing their degree, the students still have to carry out a three-month teaching practice in their home country. The Department of Teacher Training at the Faculty of Education of the University of Turku in Rauma is responsible also for the finalising of the education.
The 10th Anniversary of the Faculty of Education’s Master Degree Programme in Learning, Learning environments and Educational systems i.e. LLEES was celebrated on Thursday 22nd of October at Aula Café.
