The conference on responsible internationalisation, organised by the Nordic Association of University Administrators, attracted participants from various higher education institutions in the Nordic region to the University of Turku.
The University of Turku offers exchange study positions and grants for 25 students who have fled Ukraine due to the invasion. The positions are open for applications for students and doctoral researchers from the EC2U’s new partner, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (IFNUL).
From 10th to 14th November 2014, the University of Turku is taking part in a delegation to Recife, situated in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. The trip is related to the operation of Intercity Collaboration of South West Coast of Finland (LOURA) with the objective to increase co-operation between the two areas.

The Faculty of Social Sciences has signed an agreement on student exchanges with Fudan University’sthe School of Social Development and Public Policy of Fudan University, which is located in Shanghai.

A survey conducted last year shows that international students were particularly satisfied with the University of Turku. The survey covered all the European universities and their exchange students.
The first exchange students of 2014 began their studies at the beginning of January.
