Research data
University of Turku processes research data. The research data may contain personal data. In scientific research, the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfil the task appointed to the University in the Universities Act, and is carried out in the public interest.
Each researcher and research group is responsible for the administration of their data. They will adhere to the University Data Protection Policy and good scientific practice.
The University does not have centralised access to research data and thus cannot handle general access requests. For this reason, all requests concerning individual sets of research data must be directed to the address given to the research subject in the accompanying privacy notice.
