Biography
My research career began at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Poland, where I obtained PhD. My thesis focused on high-pressure crystallography and photoreactions in organic crystals. At my first postdoctoral position at University of Tsukuba in Japan, I continued crystallographic studies at Prof. Eiji Nishibori's laboratory, where I carried out research on inorganic materials, synchrotron and XFEL radiation. Currently I'm working Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering in Materials Informatics Laboratory, where I apply machine learning techniques to materials science.
Research
I'm taking part in DeeperMaterials where we apply natural language processing methods to materials science. In addition I'm carrying out collaborative project on utilizing machine learning to predict optical properties of materials, based on synthesis conditions.
