Biography
I hold a Doctor of Social Sciences in the field of Contemporary History. I got my
degree in 2015. In my PhD, I studied the roles of women in the Finnish civil
war and their survival after the war. Currently, I work as a university
teacher at the Department of Philosophy, Contemporary History and Political
Science at the University of Turku, Finland.
Teaching
I'm in charge of our studies in Warfare, Intelligence and Security.
I also teach the courses Research Course, Bachelor's Thesis and Seminar, and Working Skills Training.
Research
My research interests include the Finnish Civil War, war propaganda, history of Nationalist Socialist Germany, and the function and methods of the State Police in the Nordic countries.
