Research

My doctoral research explores how religious and cultural beliefs shape farmers’ responses to contemporary challenges in farming practices. In an ethnographic study of Evangelical farmers in French-speaking Switzerland, I examine the influence of Christian faith and ethics, particularly eschatological beliefs, on attitudes towards alternative agrarian methods as well as various perceived imminent crises (environmental, economic, spiritual).
