Moein Khalighi is a doctoral researcher in the Turku Data Science Group at the University of Turku. He holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Tarbiat Modares University in Iran.

Research

My research focuses on developing novel quantitative methods to predict the behavior of complex systems in the fields of ecology and biology. In particular, I am investigating the concept of ecological memory, which refers to the influence of past events or states on the dynamics of interacting communities in complex networks. By using advanced computational tools and mathematical models, my aim is to detect memory effects and incorporate them into our understanding of these systems.
