Teaching
I have a subject teacher's qualification and several years of experience in the training of science teachers. I teach materials engineering project work course and Bachelor’s thesis seminar course. I am also a teacher tutor for materials engineering students.
Research
One of the main focus areas of materials in health technology is developing sensor technologies for health care. Our aim is to increase accuracy and sensitivity of sensors and to understand the operation of the devise in different environments by researching and developing sensor materials. In my current research I’m focusing on magnetoresistive biosensors.
