Biography
Graduated from my bachelors in Greece as an electrical engineer. My thesis was focused in using MoS2 to improve the charge transport layers in perovskite solar cells which resulted in a publication. Afterwards, I came to Turku as an intern. In addition to that, I persued a Materials engineering masters degree in the university of Turku which I am currently enrolled. Furthermore, I am a full-time research assistant in the LMD lab where I work on measurement setups (EQE,Lifetime, IV....), CAD design, solution processed DBRs and OLED research.
Research
My reseach focuses in studying the effects of organic emitters in light confintment conditions such as microcavities. Such effects are polaritons, purcell enhancement, light converters etc.
The research includes developing the measuring setups in order to characterize the OLEDs, developing the OLEDs themselves and the photonic structures such as DBRs and microcavities. In addition to that, my research area also inculdes supporting development such as deposition masks, holders etc.
