Biography

I'm researcher and teacher. Through my research I aim to contribute to making society a fairer and better place for everyone – especially for vulnerable persons and groups.

My main research interests are education and culture, as well as social welfare. I am interested in inequality and I think that law is one of the key tools influencing the development of inequality. My research orientation can be described socio-legal.

In the autumn of 2023, I defended my doctoral dissertation titled ‘Self-Improvement in Poverty’. I examined culture and poverty in the interaction between values, legal norms and reality.

In addition, I have teachers’ qualification with specialization in adult education and university pedagogy. As a teacher, my focus is on supporting individual’s learning process. However, the individual process always takes place in some environment and community. For that reason, as a teacher and a supervisor, I invest in creating interaction.

Research

The aim of my research is to promote equality and justice by producing both theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding from the perspective of legal research.
