Teaching
I'm acting as a teacher tutor for materials engineering students in both BSc and MSc level. You can ask me about anything related to Materials engingeerin courses and I will try to get you the answer. Below are the courses I'm more or less responsible in some way.
MTEK0018 Internship, Materials Engineering, 2-5 ECTS
MTEK0020 Master's Thesis in Technology Seminar, Materials Engineering, 5 ECTS
Research
I'm expert in light producing materials (esp. luminescent nanoparticles) both in developing their fabrication processes and characterization methods. During my doctoral research I focused on developing thin layer coatings to protect luminescent nanoparticles in different applications mediums.
Currently my research focuses mainly on optical thin films for microcavity based OLEDs, optically active materials for solar cell applications, and photoresponsive smart materials.
