I am a Dr.Soc.Sc, and university lecturer in social work at the University of Turku. In my research, I have followed the digitalization of social work since the early 2000s. The focus of my research is on how the digitalization of social work affects the encounter between professionals and clients and how the digital tools can be used to make social work practice more inclusive.

I have gained more than 10 years of experience in lecturing and teaching at the university. I have developed my skills as an academic teacher and supervisor through practical work and by completing courses in university pedagogy.
