Biography
I am an expert in online education, a career counselor, and a teacher of language and literature. My particular expertise lies in online education tailored for immigrants, researching and developing teachers' digital skills, guidance, learning, and service design, project management, publishing, writing, and online communication.
Currently, I am working on the following projects:

Teaching
I have taught and guided adult immigrants in online integration training and entrepreneurship coaching at a university of applied sciences. Additionally, I have instructed teachers in vocational schools, universities of applied sciences, and universities. My teaching encompasses Finnish language instruction, online communication, utilizing digital tools in teaching, online writing and publishing, as well as constructing and designing components or entire modules of online courses for various digital environments. My specific teaching interests lie in constructing interaction and guidance situations online, enhancing students' online learning skills, fostering educators' online teaching competencies, and understanding community formation in online settings.
Research
The title of my doctoral dissertation is "Interaction Design Supporting Sustainable Work Life and Learning in Online Training for Adult Immigrants."
I am conducting research for my dissertation, exploring collaboratively learning online communities that foster cooperative learning. Specific areas of interest in my research include teachers' digital capabilities, entrepreneurial skills, self-efficacy, leveraging learners' digital competence, learning to become an online educator, communicating online without a shared language, structuring technology-mediated interaction situations, and designing online guidance processes.
