I am holding a title docent in Economic Sociology and currently work as a Senior Researcher at the INVEST Flagship, where I am responsible for the implementation and development of experimental and longitudinal survey research as part of the INVESTHub team. Additionally, I am involved in several domestic and international research groups and networks, such as the Emerging Technologies Lab at Tampere University. From 2020 to 2023, I led the KRIME research group, which extensively studied the social impacts of the pandemic. Research

My research draws on perspectives and theories from sociology, political science, and social psychology, focusing on two main themes that sometimes overlap: First, I examine the reciprocal relationship between citizens and institutions. Second, I explore how people participate and interact in digital environments. Through these themes, I have aimed to understand themes like social inequality, subjective well-being, consumption and lifestyle, and deviant behavior.
