Are you interested in questions related to teaching and learning in higher education? Would you like to develop your digital pedagogy skills? If yes, these university pedagogy courses are made for you.
In the academic year 2024 - 2025, two new courses will be available: Becoming a Higher Education Teacher 2 ECTS credits and Digital and Interactive Teaching and Learning 3 ECTS credits. These courses are included in University Pedagogy Studies 1 (total 10 ECTS).
University Pedagogy Studies are suitable for university teachers and university of applied sciences teachers as well as postgraduate students who wish to enhance their expertise in university and higher education pedagogy.
During the courses you will reflect your conceptions of teaching and your developmental process as a teacher. In addition, you will learn the most central concepts related to teaching and this will help you to plan your teaching and understand the learning process of your students.
The courses are offered as online studies in English, allowing you to complete them flexibly through fully distance learning. Literature and assignments are in English, but studying is possible in both English and Finnish.
