SEZs used to develop remote Russian regions

The article published by fDi Intelligence, a division of the Financial Times, focuses on special economic zones (SEZs) in Russia. The SEZs are being used to develop the more remote parts of Russia and countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, but there are concerns that bureaucracy and government intervention are stifling their growth. Professor Kari Liuhto, among other experts interviewed in the article, discusses the benefits and challenges regarding the SEZs in Russia.
