Human Diversity research consortium is launching a new seminar series this autumn. The first event is arranged on Wednesday, 25th September 2024 at 10:00
Human Diversity is an Academy of Finland Profi7 funded research consortium which focuses on cutting-edge research on how human contacts and communication networks influence material and immaterial culture, genes, disease burden, transgenerational effects and human evolution.
To bring more knowledge about these topics to University of Turku scientific community, the consortium is launching a new high-class seminar series called Current Trends in Human Diversity. The speakers are world-renowned scientists in their own fields of research and the seminars are intended for both researchers and students.
- This new seminar series has been launched to tell people about the versatile research done in human diversity and to bring together scientists from different research fields, says Professor Virpi Lummaa, the chair of Human Diversity consortium.
- We are looking forward to listen to these exciting talks, Lummaa continues.
