Best Paper Award for Maria Elo at The 13th International Conference of the SGBED

Postdoctoral Research Fellow Maria Elo from International Business at TSE received with her co-authors' best paper award at the 13th International Conference of the Society for Global Business and Economic Development (SGBED). Conference was organized in Ancona in Italy, July 16 to 18, 2014. The theme of the conference was Managing the “Intangibles": Business and Entrepreneurship Perspectives in a Global Context.
The awarded paper was titled Rich-to-poor Diaspora Ventures: How Do They Survive? and written with Aki Harima and Prof. Dr. Jörg Freiling from Bremen University. This research cooperation is part of the Diaspora Networks in International Business- research project, which is partially funded by The Foundation for Economic Education.
