The ESF-funded Uniting Companies and International University Talents (UNICOM) project aims to give valuable experience from working in industry to highly educated international talents. The UNICOM project responds to the lack of talents in companies in three pre-selected fields (Health, Tech and Clean) in Southwest Finland.
Doctoral candidates at the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University have the unique opportunity to apply for an industry placement in a host company affiliated with UNICOM. The industry placements are 1-3 months long and the recruiting company will be responsible for the salary of the doctoral candidate, as well as other employee obligations.
The Health/Tech/Clean companies offering industry placements are Abomics Ltd., BCB Medical Ltd., Care4Living Ltd., Comptek Solutions Ltd., CYF Digital Ltd., Deltamarin Ltd., Eduten Ltd., Groke Technologies Ltd., Hidex Ltd., nollaE Ltd., NordicID Ltd., Paroc Owens Corning Ltd., PayiQ Ltd., Promarine Ltd., and Saint-Gobain Finland Ltd.
The call for applications is open from 26 January to 9 February. The project descriptions of the open positions are posted on the UTU UNICOM website.
