The EchooPlay is a European cooperation project (Erasmus+), which focuses on developing gamification in career guidance. In the project, a Joint Staff Training week was organized for the project personnel in Reykjanesbaer, Iceland, from June 27 to July 1, 2022. The purpose of the week is for partners from different countries to train each other in their own expertise and at the same time develop content with the project's goals. International projects also include getting to know the local culture. The project includes partners from Iceland (MSS), Italy (EURO-NET), Finland (University of Turku), France (Kelje Production) and Italy (Studiodomino)
During the week we received information for:
- Creative problem solving
- Lego Serious Play method
- Ikigai, which was combined with the Lego Serious Play method
- The test version of the board game focuses on career guidance and the contents produced so far
- The wonderful nature of Iceland, such as volcanoes, hot springs and waterfalls
After an intensive and powerful week in Iceland, the staff members have been certified in a new methodology – developed and tested by the partnership – as "European Career and Orientation PLAY Facilitator and Trainer". Now we are ready to use LEGO ® bricks and a brand-new Boardgame as tools to facilitate people in their career choice and to find possible career pathways.
