Dr Pekka Santtila: Aroused and Appalled: The Science of Disgust and Sex

Dr. Santtila is a Professor of Psychology at NYU Shanghai. Previously, he was a Professor of Applied Psychology and Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Psychology, and Theology at Åbo Akademi University in Finland. His research primarily focuses on legal psychology, with additional interest in human sexuality, particularly in understanding and developing treatments for sexual dysfunctions. In his lecture, Dr. Santtila will explore human sexual behaviors from an evolutionary perspective, focusing on sexuality and inbreeding aversion.
