TechCampus Turku
The goal of the TechCampus is to create a strong and wide centre of technical expertise in Turku to promote the competitiveness of Southwest Finland and the development of the region’s companies in the long run.
The TechCampus Turku promotes technology education and research in the four higher education institutions of Turku, i.e. the University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University, Turku University of Applied Sciences and Novia University of Applied Sciences. At the same time, the campus unites the resources of the higher education institutions to support the product development and innovation activities of the local companies.
TechCampus Turku’s research strategy is based on the focal points and strengths of academic research, combined with the other focal points of the area. In addition, the strategy takes into account the needs for expertise in companies in the Turku region.
The contracting parties of the TechCampus Turku are University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Novia University of Applied Sciences, City of Turku, and Turku Science Park Ltd.
