The Turku University Library units will open in a limited capacity to students and staff of the university starting from Monday 19th April 2021. You can browse the collections, use the machines, and study areas by booking a library visit in advance via email. The project operated in the Baltic Sea Region during 3/2016-2/2019.
Doctoral Candidate in Nursing Science Christina Athanasopoulou loves Finland and Turku and wants to kindle the same enthusiasm in others. To do this, she has started a video blog in YouTube called Tina Turku.
The national main event of the European Day of Languages was organised in the Hansa shopping centre, Turku, on 25 September. In the event, pupils had a chance to speak different languages at the language café, try out audiovisual translation, and learn languages through movement and active learning methods. The European Day of Languages also offered music and discussions on the importance of language skills.
