In the beginning of the year 2023, history, culture and arts studies library collections will be transferred from Teutori Library to Arcanum Library. The timelines for the move will be refined in January, but the materials to be moved will be out of service during January-February. The opening date for Arcanum Library will be announced at a later date. The move will also affect the facilities of Teutori Library, as the second floor of the library will be closed for the duration of the move. The medical materials and library services remain intact in Teutori. 

The materials of history, culture and art studies are gradually transferred from Teutori Library to the new Arcanum Library. First, the books, magazines and series of the general collection will be moved and they will be out of use since 16 January 2023. The course books will be moved to Arcanum later.

Aalto-1 has successfully cleared the difficulties it has faced in orbit. The largest amount of research data has been provided by the RADMON radiation monitor carried by the satellite.

Physicist Stefan Hell, who started his research at the University of Turku in the 1990s, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in autumn 2014. The 10th anniversary of the prize will be celebrated on 4 September with a portrait unveiling at 12-14 in Alhopuro lecture hall and a science and art event open to the public at 14-20 at Visitor Centre Joki.

The course books of history, culture and art studies will be transferred from Teutori Library to the new Arcanum Library in the final phase of the move. Teutori Library will be closed completely for the duration of the move from 14 to 20 February 2023. Arcanum Library opens in March 2023.
