The Faculty of Education offers undergraduate programmes with majors in Education, Adult Education, Special Education, and Craft, Design and Technology Education. The language of tuition is Finnish except in the Master's Degree Programme in Education and Learning, where the language of tuition is English.
Finnish Biomedical Imaging Node Accepted to the Euro-BioImaging Research Infrastructure
Finnish Biomedical Imaging Node FiBI has been accepted as a service-providing Node to the pan-European Euro-BioImaging consortium for imaging technologies. The new Node improves the prerequisites for conducting high quality research and increases the researchers’ opportunities for international collaboration.
Professor Andreas Philippopoulos-Mihalopoulos: A better law outside
Professor Andreas Philippopoulos-Mihalopoulos from the University of Westminster visited the Faculty of Law in May. During the visit, he gave a lecture and organize a participative performance at the Faculty. The visit also extended to the island of Seili in the wake of Law, Space and Justice project.

University Takes Technology and AI Research to SHIFT Business Festival
The University of Turku participates in the SHIFT Business Festival on 29–30 August with two themes: using technology in the sustainable development of the maritime and food industries and the interaction between humans and machines. Play Quantum Garden and help build a quantum computer
Quantum Garden is a citizen science project where everyone can contribute to solving a quantum physics research problem of crucial importance for the outbreak of quantum technologies. The project is a collaboration between the University of Turku, the School of Science and the School of Arts, Design and Architecture at Aalto University and it is sponsored by the Centre for Quantum Engineering (CQE).
